  1. Rice Water
Rice water is an ancient and natural recipe used in Asia for centuries. It has been said that the minerals in rice water help Women to grow long luscious locks in a matter of days. I tried this for 7 days and I found that my hair became much easier to detangle and I even measured my hair by marking its growth with an old T-Shirt and the results worked! Rice water is also known to brighten the skin. I also tried this and I found that my skin glowed more especially with makeup on. I was really happy with my results.

Recipe;

Step 1: Add any type of rice to a bowl of water and stir around for 1 minute. Once stirred remove the bacteria-prone water away with a cylinder.

Step 2: Add the now cleaned rice in another bowl with fresh water and let it sit for 30 minutes.

Step 3: Remove the rice from the bowl of water and let the water sit for another 10 minutes.

Step 4: Pour the water into a spray bottle. (Note- the water has not got a very nice smell so add incense of your choice)

Step 5: Spray the water to your face /hair ⅔ times per day for at least 7 days.

Notes: You can ferment the water for longer or add boiling water to the mixture rather than cold.

  1. Egg Whites
An old Tudor recipe that has been used for many many years since. I found this recipe on a makeup tutorial on youtube where a makeup artist recreated a look! Egg white is a good substitute to a primer because it stops pours from showing under makeup. I find this technique is really useful on a night out because it stops my face from getting oily which as a result breaks down your makeup. Nobody wants dirty-looking skin when their out clubbing! Egg whites are also known to be a natural facelift as it tightens your skin.
Recipe;

  1. Add 1 egg into a bowl or a cup
  2. Remove the yolk (yellow part) from your bowl or cup
  3. Stir the remaining egg with a spoon for 1 minute
  4. Apply the egg white with an old foundation brush to the skin
  5. You will feel it tighten - leave on for 20-30 minutes
  6. Remove off your face with hot water and then dry your face with a towel.

3) Teeth Whiten with Lemon
I found this recipe on another blog a long time ago. Lemon is rich with vitamin C and is a fruit that has citrus in. There is a lot of acid in lemon so uses of this should be limited as it could potentially be harmful if used in high dosages. Lemon is a natural way to whiten your teeth and clean any bacteria that is in your mouth. I find this works and it always makes my mouth feel clean afterward. I recommend using this only 1time a week.
Recipe;

  1. Get 1 lemon or lime and wash any bacteria away
  2. Cut lemon in half and squeeze into a jar of your choice
  3. Use an old toothbrush and squeeze the jar and put a couple of drops onto your toothbrush
  4. Clean your teeth as usual for 2 minutes
  5. Rinse your mouth out
  6. 1 / 2 times a week maximum.

4) Reduce Acne
Recipe;
Ingredients; Black Charcol, Aloe Vera, Tea Tree Oil

I decided to use try this one day when I was bored at home. There are lots of benefits to all three products. Black Charcol is usually known to clean your teeth, Aloe vera is a natural plant that has many benefits to your skin and tea tree oil is also known to be good for your skin especially if it is prone to acne. Mixing these ingredients together created a thick paste that I found quite difficult to wash off however this made my skin feel lovely afterward and I saw my blemishes vanish within a couple of days.

  1. Mix ingredients together in a paste. If it is too dry then add a drop of water.
  2. Once mixed together use an old foundation brush and apply to your chosen areas
  3. Leave on face for 20-25 minutes
  4. Rinse with hot water & hot towel
½ a week recommended
  1. Fresh Skin with bananas
I found this recipe on youtube. Bananas are full of potassium however I recently found out that banana peels are really good to use on your skin as they brighten your skin, reduce wrinkles, clears acne scars, and is overall a very good moisturizer. Milk is also great for the skin because not only does drinking milk help improve your bones, teeth, nails, and hair but the b6 vitamin in these products helps moisturize your skin. I found this recipe brilliant for my skin.
Recipe;
Ingredients; Banna, Banna Peel, ½ cup of full-fat milk

1)Add ingredients to a blender and mix for 2 minutes.
2)Once mixed pour into a cup and apply on face with foundation brush
3)Apply 2 layers
4)Leave for 20-30 minutes
5)Wash with hot water and a towel
Apply as many times a week as you like.
