End of March/April Writing Blog
March / April Writing Challenge
Hi, Lovelies!
Welcome to another blog, Today I will be doing another writing challenge which I enjoy as they get the brain thinking which therefore helps you to assess, analyze and grow from goals and objectives that you set. I recommend everyone to do this.
- Why is Spring such a positive season? I think it's positive because the weather improves, which therefore releases serotonin and overall affects your mood.
- How does Spring feel for you? Sit outside and use all your senses, then free to write about everything you see, smell, taste and touch. When the weather is good, I feel generally more happy as the smell of flowers and nature helps me relax. I generally eat better and I feel my touch heightens.
- What are your favourite things about warmer weather and longer days? I feel more proactive, especially as I now work much earlier so in the evening I spend more time outside.
- How do you enjoy an April rainy day with your family? Chilling in the front room, talking about crap and watching TV together.
- Why is World Health Day so important this year? (April 7th). Health is important for overall happiness, so generally, you should detox bad things out of your life. Though this is one aspect I haven't done recently, I know soon when life is less crazy I will do it.
- Free write for ten minutes about your perfect Spring day. My perfect day would consist of getting up early, and talking to my family or friends whilst drinking a coffee. Relax until 10-11am and go to the gym. Come home from the gym, go out for a coffee or to do something and later go for dinner.
- List five things you could get rid of to declutter your home. 1) Clothes. 2)Old make-up. 3)Crap in my draws. 4) De-clutter all of my cupboards. 5) Get rid of stuff from my bag.
- Make a list of four things you are grateful for this April. 1) I am grateful for selling my home. 2) I am grateful for my Family. 3)I am grateful I have a roof over my head. 4) I am grateful that I have a stable job.
- Why do you love your life right now? I feel since moving home that I am more myself again. I'm socialising more, spending more time with friends, meeting new people and making positive changes.
- Why are April showers so much fun? How else can you reconnect with your inner child self? Go to parks more and arcades.
- How can you connect with nature more this Spring? Work on my spirituality by doing more meditation, tarot and manifestation.
- What one self-love habit can you commit to this new month? Practising mindfulness more and reading self-care books.
- What one healthy body habit can you commit to this month? Taking my vitamins regularly and eating a raw egg every day.
Creativity
- What Spring animal do you love seeing? I love seeing birds in the sky on a clear day.
- What are your favourite fairy tales relating to Spring? I wouldn't say I have a particular one.
- What magical creatures do you think of in Spring? Field mice, hares and deer or something mystical? I think of Fairies.
- Write a short story about the first day of Spring. What magic and possibility can you weave into your story? Something related to creating positivity in an aspect of someone's life.
- What is your favourite poem?
“Invictus” by William Ernest Henley
- What does being wild and free mean to you? How do you use your inner wildness in life? Being free means expressing yourself how you want without shame. If you wanna sleep with 100 people why not? If you want to sleep in why not? If you wanna change your group of friends why not? Being who you are is key to being free.
- What is your favourite book? Why do you keep re-reading it? One of my fav books is Anything to do with Dan Brown.
- How do you feel when you dance at home, with nobody watching? Why does this feel so good? It feels so good to let loose and forget about the worries and stress that come with life. You need to be free and it's a great way to let go.
- Creativity comes in many forms. How are you creative? (in your garden, cooking, stories you create for your kids; think outside of the box here). I am creative in my writing, I enjoy writing Erotica and I think my ideas are very different to the average.
- Write a positive mantra to start your day. Only let those things that are good for me enter my colours. That those bad things reflect.
Goals
- What is your favorite memory from last month? My favourite memory was spending quality time with my Mum.
- What activities have you ticked off your bucket list so far this year? 1) Book a holiday. 2) Start a new life in the UK. 3)Talk to a career advisor. 4) Sort out my driving.
- How are your goals going for this year? Do you need to reset or are you happy with your progress? I am really happy with my progress, I feel the first two months I really tried to work hard towards my goals and writing and now I am still working hard but with new challenges and a better social life.
- How can you show the important people in your life more love this Spring season? Spend quality time together.
- Do a future self-meditation. What did you see? Where do you want to head? What do you need to do to achieve this? I need to have clear goals but at the same time, not overload myself where I will crumble and do nothing. Baby steps are key.
- What is your biggest goal for this month? Continue what I am doing and make sure I am still in in tune with my spirituality.
- What one daily step can you take to achieve your April goal? Continue exercising as it releases my stress.
- What do you need to do less of this month? I need to smoke less.
- What is the biggest lesson you have ever learnt from a failure? That its okay for things to not work out the way you think. Regardless if you believe in a god or high power (Me the latter) things work out for a reason. Something didn't happen because something else needed to take place. Destiny takes us to where we need to be.
- What one strength do you have that will ensure you achieve your goals? I think moving away has taught me that nothing comes for free. You work hard, you set goals and aspirations and things will work out if you put the hard work in. I believe, I am a very hard worker and I have the mentality that I ''will'' achieve something.
